Every time a new DocVerify document or transaction is created a new DocVerify ID is also created that identifies that transaction, and the ID is unique.

When using the Easy Sign system's basic integration it is not possible to pass the new DocVerify ID through the src URL or other means easily; however, when used with the Webhook add-on, the DocVerify ID can be easily passed to you when a new transaction is created. When using the Easy Sign API integration, the new DocVerify ID is passed to you in the API when a new transaction is created; whereas, in the basic integration it is not.

Why is it important to save the ID's?

That DocVerify ID is used to later retrieve, get the status of, as well as other info for that particular document. The ID's should be also saved in your systems if possible to connect particular transactions on your end to the associated DocVerify ID's. For example, say you have a client in your system with a database ID of "12345" in your internal database, and when you create a new DocVerify transaction for that client, and you save the DocVerify ID for that transaction you will now know that client "12345" is associated with DocVerify ID "ABCD" for example. This way when you look you your clients in your systems in the future you will know which DocVerify documents belong to that client without ever having to come to DocVerify.
